Government - 2010 General Election

As a nation we are affected by the decisions made by those in power. Laws are being proposed that have significant implications for us as Christians. The Bible commands us that when we meet together we should first pray for those that have authority over us, that we would be able to live in peace and that we would have freedom in our faith to do the will of God in our community and nation.

A Key Scripture

For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counsellor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

Isiah 9:6
